iHealth Devices
ChronicCareIQ is proud to partner with iHealth Labs to provide medical device integration services. We are integrated with iHealth but it requires the patient to connect the iHealth app to CCIQ.
Getting Started
To integrate your iHealth devices with CCIQ, contact your CCIQ account manager or support team at [email protected] to activate this feature.
App Download
To set up an iHealth device, the patient will need to create an iHealth account and download the iHealth mobile app.
Apple Users
Search for iHealth in the App Store and install the app.

iHealth Account Set Up
Now that the iHealth app is installed on the patient’s smartphone, begin the account setup process by following these simple steps:
Launch the app by clicking the iHealth icon
When prompted, click OK to Allow Bluetooth connection. This must be enabled to connect the device.
Next, click Allow to enable notifications.
For the iHealth device to track patient vitals, permission must be granted by the app. We recommend selecting Turn All Categories On.
Once the data fields have been selected, click Allow.
Swipe right on the screen until you are presented with a button to Start your healthy journey. Click the button to proceed.
Next, an iHealth patient account will need to be created. Click the Create a new account button to continue.
Complete the fields and click next.
Enter the patient’s email address and have the patient enter a password. We recommend writing the password down for safekeeping.
Click the Create My Account button.
The page will display the Terms and Agreement for using the iHealth app. Have the patient read to the bottom of the screen and then click the box labeled, “By registering an iHealth account, you have read and agreed with iHealth’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policies.
Upon agreeing to the terms, click OK.
Linking the Patient’s iHealth Device with ChronicCareIQ
Now that the patient’s iHealth account has been created, the iHealth device will need to be linked to their ChronicCareIQ account. Follow these steps:
Have the patient log in to ChronicCareIQ.
The answer screen will prompt the patient to answer their health questions if they have not done so already.
Navigate to the Home screen. Click the option to Manage your iHealth devices.
Select the Continue to iHealth button. The iHealth sign-in screen will be displayed.
Have the patient sign in to link the device.
Omron Devices
ChronicCareIQ is proud to partner with Omron Healthcare to provide medical device integration services.
Blood Pressure Monitors
ChronicCareIQ offers device integration with Omron Bluetooth Blood Pressure Monitors. This integration allows for a seamless collection of blood pressure readings.
Currently, ChronicCareIQ supports direct Bluetooth connection with 9 Omron Blood Pressure Monitors (7 upper arm monitors and 2 wrist monitors). While other Omron BP Monitors may work with the CCIQ mobile app, the 9 listed under the Patient Resources section have been tested and verified to work.

Device Setup
Connecting Omron Bluetooth devices to the CCIQ app can be accomplished by following these simple steps:
Patients participating in the service will need to download the CCIQ mobile app and sign in
Once the account setup is complete, the patient will be prompted to “add a new Bluetooth device”
A list of devices will appear. Choose the appropriate device by touching the option on the screen.
Follow the instructions and click “OK”
Once pairing is complete, the screen will confirm the device(s) that is paired
The user will then be instructed to take a blood pressure measurement. Once complete, select “Done with measurement” to proceed. Alternatively, this step can be skipped if desired.
When the reading is received, it will display on the screen. Users have the option to accept or retake their measurements.
When multiple readings are available, a list will appear. End-users can select the measurements they’d like to accept and submit them to their care team.
In addition, a new Bluetooth Devices option is available on the CCIQ mobile app’s main menu
