ChronicCareIQ supports the ability for clinical staff to receive notifications on patients who have triggered Alerts in the system. Clinical case managers can opt to receive email or text notifications to let them know when a patient has triggered a “Red Alert” based on the thresholds set in the patient protocol.
To enable notifications for red alert patients, the Account Admin needs to turn “ON” notifications for the case manager assigned to the patient:
Navigate to the “User Summary” Users tab
Select the clinical user and use the drop down to “Edit User”
Click the “Monitoring” Tab and activate “Patient Alerts”
Choose the type of alert to be received and set the text number to receive. Emails will go to email on file on the “Account” tab.
Click “Modify Clinical User” to save these changes
When a patient answers their protocol questions or sends in vital readings that are set to a red alert threshold, the clinical user will get a notification so they can login to ChronicCareIQ and respond as needed.
The “Exceeded Clinical Threshold” notifications are available in email or text (or both) delivery:
Please keep in mind that the text notifications will direct the user to the mobile browser to log into ChronicCareIQ. The dashboard maybe difficult to see on small screens, but the website functionality is the same.
The threshold alert notifications are currently only available for RED alerts. Yellow warning thresholds will not generate staff notifications.
