The dashboard lists all actively enrolled patients and their health status with color-coded icons. Your care team can triage patients and focus their attention first on patients with alerts, which are triggered by surpassing clinical thresholds.
The dashboard is highly customizable and for each clinical user, settings and filters applied are automatically saved to retain the preferred view of the dashboard. Click the link below to view the various features and learn how to navigate the dashboard.
Response Score Algorithm
Each question within the various protocols has a built-in scoring system. A patient response to an individual question that does not exceed a set threshold would have a score of 1. An answer that exceeds a set Yellow Warning threshold would have a score of 4. A Red Alert for an exceeded threshold would have a score of 5. The responses for each question are weighted, which then contributes to an algorithm that gives the Response Score of 1-100.
In addition to the individual 1-5 scores, the response score also takes into account the number of individual scores, the previous scores, and the trend of the patients in the ChronicCareIQ algorithm to determine the overall response score.
For example, the response score can be a yellow warning on the dashboard but have a higher response score than another yellow patient because that patient is trending toward a worse score faster than another patient due to the algorithm calculations.
Patient Status Icon Legend
“Alert” status – the patient has exceeded an alert threshold set on one or more of their protocol questions
“Warning” status – the patient has met a warning threshold set on one or more of their protocol questions
“OK” status – patient is within all set thresholds/guides
Overlay “Reviewed” – patient’s submitted information has been reviewed by staff (same for yellow warn and red alerts as well)
Overlay “Awaiting Response” – the patient has not yet responded to the current monitoring period answers, but it is not yet considered late status (same for yellow warn and red alerts as well)
Overlay “Locked” – The patient’s chart is currently locked to a single staff member for editing. The lock status will automatically be removed when the next scheduled monitoring period is due (same for yellow warn and red alerts as well)
Patient is “Late” or “Inactive” in responding to their protocol questions for two or more scheduled monitoring periods
Patient enrolled as a technology patient have never logged into their CCIQ account
Patient enrolled as a technology patient have never logged into their CCIQ account and they do not have an email on file OR the email on file is invalid and needs to be corrected
Patient status is paused – the patient is not receiving scheduled reminders, but is still active and can login to account
Finished Monitoring – the monitoring period for the patient has been completed (auto-completed or staff manual set)
The blue “Review” checkmark overlay will display on any of the patient status colors if a staff member has interacted and marked the patient as “Reviewed”. If the patient submits new information, a message, or the next monitoring period time occurs, this blue check will go away as the patient is awaiting a new review of new data submitted.
Overlay of the “Awaiting Response” and “Locked” are also applicable to respective status icons as appropriate:

Drag and Drop Column Order
ChronicCareIQ now allows the dashboard columns to be sorted in the order the client wants to display. See the video above for a demo of how to drag and drop columns on the monitoring dashboard, billing dashboard, or patient search.
Using the Gear Wheel, staff can choose the specific columns to be displayed:
then staff can drag or drop these columns in order of preference:
The column order is saved in the staff’s local browser, so it will remain the same each time login occurs. In addition, different column appearance and order can be saved as a “Favorite” view.
Billing Icons
Dashboard Billing Icons are located in the time column to guide the billing status of patients duringthe month:
ChronicCareIQ has enhanced the dashboard timer column to display new billing icons that will assist users in quickly identifying the current billing status of their patients. These indicators will help you understand where the patient billing is during the month. Clicking on the icon shows a popover with insight into the next eligible billing code. For example, the next code 99439 will be dropped when the below patient hits 40 minutes of time:
In addition, if the patient is not eligible for additional billing codes, the dashboard icon will show as a blue check to indicate the patient has exhausted all time-ball billing codes for the month. This will help you see at a quick glance from the dashboard that additional time will not generate additional billing codes for the month:
These billing icons reflect TIME-based codes only, not device measurement codes. The icons are visible on the dashboard and on the timer in the patient chart. Icons will reset on the first day of each month. Finally, these icons are based on each patient’s specific configuration (like billing types, billing settings, a phone, a care plan, etc).

Billing Settings will Guide Icon Status:
The billing icons are designed to indicate potential codes the patient can qualify for. This means that if a particular organization has a workflow to NOT continue billing at a certain time point, the account billing settings can be adjusted to reflect this workflow.
Please have your account admin contact ChronicCareIQ support to discuss and enable account level billing settings.

Dashboard Filters
ChronicCareIQ offers a vast array of dashboard filters to assist staff in identifying different information on patients. Filters are useful because they can assist with identifying patients, focusing on a specific health status group, reviewing patients that need a little more time to become billable and much more.
Filters Available in CCIQ:
CCIQ offers a robust variety of filters to customize your dashboard based on workflow needs and user preferences. Many of the available filters are available on the Dashboard “Select Filter” page:
You can filter by Provider, Case Manager, Protocols, & Advanced Filters. You can also save filters as a starred Favorite.
Clicking on the filters above will show any patient that meets that filter criteria. In addition to the shortcuts on the Select Filter page, the drop-down list of “Other Filters” has a variety of other commonly used patient filters:
Basic filters applied to the dashboard will include an explanation of the criteria of the filter. For example, the “Need Time for Next Code” quick filter informs the staff of information about the filter (in this case, these are patients within 5 minutes of their next billing threshold) and gives helpful suggestions of actions that may be applied to the chart to fulfill the time needed to the next billing threshold:

Dashboard Task – View All Patients on the Dashboard
Review the dashboard task for viewing all patients on the dashboard. This task helps ensure each patient’s health status is viewed and time is accumulated toward monthly billing.
